Greeting card using tQuery

by: Vivek Marakana

Have you heard of tQuery? If no then don’t worry,it’s nothing but an extension of three.js combined with jQuery.So if you know how to play with jQuery and three.js,it’s easy to play with tQuery rather i would say it’s much easier then both of it.

I will teach you tQuery in different tutorials and let’s begin. First of all you need to download tQuery files and its easy to use platform (called playground). This is a complete tquery plugin and you will find playground in /www/playground. So just open playground and let’s get started.

In this first tutorial i’m going to teach you how to create a greeting card for your loved ones using tquery. First of all you need to create a new world for tquery just like you create renderer in three.js. To create a new world write this.

var world = tQuery.createWorld().boilerplate().start();

or

var world = tQuery.createWorld().fullpage().start();

Now to make it easier i have made a video so you can start coding like shown in the video.

You need to install or upgrade Flash Player to view this content, install or upgrade by clicking here.

If you have any question regarding this then just make a comment i’d like to reply.Happy Coding.
